By pure coincidence, random googling old childhood friends meant that I heard this sad news. We lived round the corner and my earliest memories are of climbing trees, playing hide and seek, and racing up and down Beech Avenue on bikes with Graham and Stuart. Moving away to a different bit of Crosby was far enough, in those pre-mobile phone days, to mean we lost touch, which I always regretted. Even though we were probably only 10 when we last met, reading these tributes ring absolutely true to the Graham I remember: always the ringleader, always coming up with new games, always fun but resolutely kind and fair. My heart goes out to Maureen, Ronnie, Stuart and family, and all who were lucky enough to know Graham in later years.
Our hearts go out to Sarah and the Rothwell family. We're so sorry for the loss of your dear Graham.
